I've been neglecting this space - it's so hard to feel motivated after a nine hour stint of sitting in an office chair at a desk facing other desks with nothing to do but shuffle papers and pretend to look busy.

I go on lovely walks and enjoy every moment of being outside of my little grey box of a house, but once I get home and it's dark and cold, all I can really muster enough enthusiasm for is cooking a half-arsed dinner and watching a shitty movie before my body caves in on itself, my brain checks out and I have to crawl into my bed and die, only to repeat the soul destroying routine again the next morning.

Never-the-less, I have many photos to share.

also in the lost and found is my first attempt at homemade vegetable curry using my new terracotta cooking pots. and home made coconut roti! yum!

today was a beautiful day, but alas i am housebound with the dreaded lurgy and as a result i decided to make best use of my confinement to pick up an old sketch and finally do something with it.

i'm sure i look a little strange when i walk around sydney collecting leaves, and people would stay well clear of me if they knew i went home and boiled them up (witch style, cauldron and all), but this is my new favourite thing to do.

sometimes you can be a real prick, which i totally get because you've got a lot of shit going on, but your recent generosity just makes me want to pull you on down into a huge rib-cracking bear hug and never let you go.
