i was sorting through some old folders and stumbled upon some snaps from the christmas i spent in michigan 2 years ago... looking through them brings back such strong memories of being there; i can remember what it sounded like, what it smelled like and what colour the air was so vividly it makes me happy and sad at the same time.

there's nothing sweeter; the sun is soft and warm through the window, ray charles is serenading through the speakers, ginger kitty and grumpy man are getting on swimmingly, my paint pots are bright and beckoning and my brush is doing all the work for me.
